1KD 819 653 Cabin Filter — Direct Replacement for Volkswagen Tiguan 2008-2016

The 1KD 819 653 is an OE-quality cabin filter built for Volkswagen Tiguan (2008-2016). It is a drop-in replacement: same outer dimensions, same sealing profile and same mounting points as the original part, so no modification is needed at service time.

Technical Specifications

Why buyers choose this element

• Fit-first design — tooled from the original sample, not from a generic blank, so the seal seats without force.
• Stable filtration — uniform pleat spacing keeps pressure drop low across the service interval and protects the blower or intake downstream.
• Repeatable supply — produced in-house, so the same specification is available on re-orders months later.
• Mixed-container friendly — can be consolidated with other filter numbers in one shipment to reduce freight per unit.

Questions buyers ask

Which vehicles does 1KD 819 653 fit?
Volkswagen Tiguan built between 2008-2016. Where the same model was sold with several engines, match the number printed on the old element.

Is this the same as the original part?
It is an aftermarket equivalent, not a branded OEM part. Dimensions, media grade and sealing are matched to the original so it performs the same service function.
